1-ton Dakota??
OK, so this wasn't the smartest thing, but I thought it was only 1500 or so pounds...they told me 6700 at the scale and I was like WHAT!

You had 2300 lbs. of scrap. They weighed your truck along with it, then subtracted the curb weight of your truck. Your truck alone is over two tons, btw. You probably know all this already, so I'm just jabbering.

Yea I knew my dead weight. But its only a half ton truck, I thought 1500 was a lot but I was not expecting almost 1-1/4 tons of stuff. I wasn't even on the bump stops, had another 1" or so to being bottomed out.
