plastic lower bumper painting

Default plastic lower bumper painting

2000 dakota I'm replacing my grille and lower valance I've got both parts there primerd all ready need help on painting them what paint to use on the plastic. The metal bumper I will sand and repaint black I'm good with how to paint it. The plastic is a lot diff there's more steps if somebody out there has done this help a fellow dodge lover out thanks

when painting and plastic,,add flex additive in your paint..it help the paint to flex without cracking the paint plus help it against rock chipping it...first use a red scotch bright pad to scuff it parts down with..then use plastic cleaning agent or rubbing alchol..then use a track cloth to remove any dust on it...then you can buy a spray can of dupi-coat adhesive prototion..by spraying that it helps the paint stick to the plastic better..then after 10-15 mins after it drys then you can start painting those plastic parts..hopes this helps..advice coming from a 33+ years in autobody man and painter..
