Since owning a Dakota, I now see them everywhere. I notice that, like mine, many of the Dakotas I see have a bed canopy whose paint color does not match the color of the truck! I swear at least half of them have mismatched canopies. I have a burgundy Dakota with a silver canopy. I can't yet justify buying a new canopy and/or paying nearly $1000 to have it painted. But at some point I will because the mismatch bothers me.

It made me think, "There has to be someone in my neck of the woods who has a silver Dakota with a burgundy canopy who would trade canopies with me."

So I'm starting here.
