Default time to start modding

ok, so I got my income tax money back, so I think I'm gonna buy a new CAI (WAI) and some new headlights. I hate ebay, but I think I'm gonna go that route anyways. tell me what ya think of these or if you know any better ones out there. I jut dont wanna get burned and end up with a load of crap.

heres a CAI I was looking at.

if i were you i would look for one of the "CAI"'s on ebay with a heat shield...i think there is that has a k&n and a heatsheild...just to keep a little extra dirt out and some heat...other than that the headlights and taillights look pretty sweet i like the head lights a lot better than the taillights tho. just my .02 good luck.

an intake like this is what i would go for but thats just my preferance...you can always upgrade to a k&n later even tho i beleive they aren't really worth their price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-02...em200095866249

I'm gonna make my own heat shield with some diamond plate aluminum to seal it off better. I already have a home made CAI with a heat shield, but it looks a bit like a hack job, I just wanna start over from scratch and do it the right way this time and I'm not gonna spend 200+ for a CAI.

ya, I think I like those better then the 1 piece head lights, I think the 2 piece headlights will give it more of a cleaner look. I just wish shipping was cheaper[:'(]

I wouldn't invest the cash in a CAI. Might want to look at a plenum kit, cams, headers, programmer(not sure what options you have for your year),shift kit, or even new gears(depending on what you have)if you have that kind of money to play with. You'll get more bang for your buck!

I already have magnaflow dual exhaust, custom made CAI, 180 stat and a super chips programmer.I think the next thing to do to the engine would be a bigger TB from fastman. but at this point I would rather buy some new headlights and tail lights. just to make her look a lil bit better.
