With the engine running andall the seat belts fastened, the Seat Belt Reminder Lightilluminates and stays ON(does not turn OFF) it staysON for about 10 minutes and then goes OFF and back to ON. Any suggestion in WHAT TO DO or what toCHECK...???

disconnect the seatbelt connector it wont come on at all this is done in all my vehicles, due to the fact that a seat belt killed my grandpa... its 50/50, id rather die than be paralized...

 

Ok I may not make any friends with this statement, but who the hell doesn't wear their seatbelts these days? In a mild accident the seatbelt can be the difference between breaking your windshield with your face, broken bones, and other significant injuries versus some whiplash and a belt rash.

A friend of mine survived a horrible accident with his dad because of his seat belt. They went off an embankment. His dad didn't make it, but he did. He's fine now, but had he not been wearing it, he would most likely have died with his father.

Besides, have you seen what an air bag will do to you if you're not belted in?

 

seen what a seat belt can do if your airbag doesnt go off? yea they dont show those statistics...

 

I'll take seat belt damage over thrown about/from the vehicle damage any day. What were the circumstances of your grandpa's accident?
