I have my console ripped out and am going to replace my 4x4 shift lights.... anyone know how to take the shift **** off... does it just unscrew or do i have to unbolt the whole lever? Help quick please

Well I just worked around it and my truck is put back together. Thanks for all the help!
It wasn't life or death urgent but it was still urgent as my truck was torn apart inside
