Allright here is my deal. I have a 04 dakota sport, 4.7l 4wd. When it shifts into 2nd or 3rd it is really rough. It only does it sometimes... Then in 3rd gear at 28mph, and inbetween 1.5 to 2 grand on the rpmssomething rattles.. I think its in the trans. Thought it was the exhaust, so I put it in park and tried reving it up inbetween 1.5 and 2 grand and nothing ratttles? So i am thinking it is the trans.. Any ideas? Or is this normal?
