Default Truck seems to shimmy.

Hello everybody, today my mom and I had to take a trip that was about 130 miles one way. Most of it was hightway, so i was doing about 65 -75mph. So anyway, around 70mph, we could feel the truck "shimmy". But the wierd thing is, you cant feel it through the steering wheel. The steering is perfect. The truck rides/dives fine. It's just when you're goingdownthe highway, you can feel it "shimmying". Any ideas?

Thanks.

your tires are out of balance, take it to a tire shop and have them rotate and balance your tires. and you might want to check tire pressure they all should be at 35 psi.

Also one time I felt a shimmy and it turned out to be a driveshaft u-joint. That one I felt more in the seat. I also agree with 01dodgedriver. I recently bought new summer tires and the vibration/shimmy that I felt went away with the new tires. A side note I love the new cooper s/t's.

Yea it's funny my dad just picked up his Ram from the shop when he experienced the same problems. He said they replaced the U-joints, and some other things my dad couldn't explain to me.
