no offense, but this day is not a joke, on this date last year a girl that i went to school with was hit by a drunk driver walking home from a school event on the main street in my home town. She was on her way home with her cousin, and they were both hit at over 50 mph and killed, thrown over a gaurdrail and a drainage ditch on the side of the road, this is not a day on which anyone in my town jokes about as 4/20, anyone in the North New Jersey area should be able to recall this day

 

i dont live in north new jersey (thank god), so i dont know what you're talking about. but i agree, smoking pot is stupid, especially if you drive.

 

actually my point had nothing to do with smoking pot, although yea it is stupid period. my point was that this day is not a joke to me and im frankly quite offended that people take this day as a joke when i know someone, who just one (1) year ago was killed on this day!!!! and people like this

have to go and make a joke out of it, it really pisses me off, and i would like to know how they can do that and still consider themselves respectable people

i think what he is getting at is that one of our moderators is bringing it up, sorry but that isn't respectable, yea i used to smoke too, but its not something that you should bring up on a web page that anybody can read, especially if you are the moderator...in my oppinion... and sorry about ur friend, but I'm sure he didn't bring it up just to **** you in particular off...

in closing guess that if your going to set a example for what should be done on a message board, ya proaly shouldn't talk about celebrating doing illegal drugs
