2001 QC Dakota AWD Questions
I still haven't had a chance to go and look at it being that it's probably a 4 hr. trip to where the guy is. But thanks everyone for the help.I still may go and look at it if I can get the time, but between school and work it's kind of hard to make that kind of time right now.
I have an 01 AWD that started to "clunk" after a year of owning it. I brought it to the dealer several times because I'veowned the truck since new (1 mile) and it never made the sound before. After two years I ended up at a different mechanics garage for the brakes andI mentioned the clunk. He called me back after two hours and said the bolts on the tranny where lose. It has been three years now and the clunk hasn't returned.
I wish now I had asked which bolts where lose but it might be something worth checking for everyone with the mysterious "clunk".
