Default O2 sensor circuit high volts (sensor 2)

Since the 3rd gen Ram section is about as useful as a Ford....I'll post this here...

So yea my dad is tellin me how he has a check engine light on his '02 Ram, so I took out my Scanner and it reads code P0138 O2 sensor circuit high volts (sensor 2). I was just wondering what that would mean. Thx.

It sounds like the O2S is shorted to voltage.

If you don't have a repair manuel for the truck I can probably pull up how to check it and fix it for you tonight.

Yeah, an auto parts store should have the repair manual for that truck. You just have to find the diagnostic flow chart for that DTC and it should only take a few minutes to go out to the truck and do it.
