Took the ugly gray plastic fender flares off of my truck. With $3 and an hour of scrubbing to get the glue/tape off, I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

I'm considering getting a chrome grill for my next cosmetic mod - I really don't like the gray plastic look, and it looks a LOT better (in my opinion) without the gray fender flares, but a lot of the Dakotas have a chrome grill that I really like the look of. That'd run me about 65 bucks that I'd rather put under the hood, but we'll see.

Any opinions or suggestions?

I like the flares better, I think you should just paint them the colour of your truck.
