'03 rear rotor replacement troubles

Default '03 rear rotor replacement troubles

I am in themiddle of a rotor/pad replacement on the '03 and cannot for the life of my get the rotor off. It keeps binding up on the emergency brake pads. Any trick to get the rotors off?Thanks in advance for the input!

I'm guessing you're talking about the rears then... you may have to adjust the e-brake until it's loose enough to get the rotors off.

Yup, my bad for not stating that. How do you adjust them? I can see what I think is the adjuster when I "pry the rotor away, but not clear how to adjust the e-brake.

Not sure man, I've got rear drums. Typically there's an adjusting wheel accessed by a hole in the backing plate on drums. IIRC in my last Subaru, which had disc-on-drum rears with a drum e-brake the adjustment was done via a bolt/nut somewhere at the hand lever - so maybe trace the cable back to the foot pedal and there'll be an adjuster somewhere along the line.
