since you have to go through emissions like
I do, I would just get a high flow cat. if you ram holes inside your cat, then its not doing its job, so you will probly fail. I dont know what your limits are over in BC. but here the limits are pretty low. I had a struggle to get mine to pass.

Ya they are pretty hard in BC. Thats why i was just going to put a pipe in to replace the cat untill aircare comes, put my truck up on the hoist and put in the cat for when i aircare it and then take it back out after i pass! Cuz high flow cats are pricy thou althou you say you got yours for 75 im think ill just the pipe in and then put the cat in when i gotta take it thru aircare. Like im pretty sure a high flow cat and if you were to put a pipe in they would do pretty much just the same thing. Just the high flow cat is a lot better for the envioment.

No i dont got alot of time on my hands, just take it into a muffler shop and get them to take out the cat and put a straight pipe and then ill put the cat in and then i pass aircare. Not alot to risk? Well i guess so if i do get pulled over i can say i jsut bought the truck and it came with one and i have one on order? lol

guess im not geting what the reason is, hiflow cat 100 to 150 bucks, shop time since its urs free... and you should get a deal on parts too, but neverthe less why would you want to waste a hour every two years doing that, and its illegal?!
