hey all. got a slight problemo[:@]

amongst other things the bottom UJ on my steering column has shafted itself (no pun intended) and the bearings are starting to get really bad! now I happen to work at a chrysler dealership and we only sell the complete lower shaft which sucks! (and it's actually quite expensive!)

Does anyone know of maybe;

A) A method of replacement of the actual UJ itself?
B) A way of repairing the little SOB?

any advice would be greatly appreciaed before I bite the bullet and pay too much money!

I rang around but the problem is I live in the UK and shippings expensive...I guess I'm gonna have to swallow it.

 

....what part do you need exactly? the universal joint in the steering?

 

yeah the uj under the bonnet
