Replace the PCV Valve
|
RE: Clogged Muffler?
idk if urs even has one..
|
RE: Clogged Muffler?
just about every vehicle has a pcv valve
|
RE: Clogged Muffler?
...not newer..
|
RE: Clogged Muffler?
either cut it off or get a high flow cat, that will free up some horses[/align]
|
RE: Clogged Muffler?
There is no cat converter currently on there. But there is some exhaust leaks. I will replace the Pcv valve as soon as I get some money (end of month.)
|
RE: Clogged Muffler?
take the pcv valve off and shake it, if it rattles it is still good
|
RE: Clogged Muffler?
okay, can i just for a quick fix, place it in carb cleaner?
|
RE: Clogged Muffler?
just replace the valve, it's only about 3 bucks, and then fix your exhaust leaks, that will make a huge difference. Besides doin that and all the other stuff mentioned, (tune up etc.) the only other thing you can do is sell the truck and buy one with a V8!

RE: Clogged Muffler?
Okay, Well i will have to give it try I was working on my truck today with tires, got some 31's on there, tires were free. But yea, they look pretty good and cranked the torsion bars.
