Default Squeaky Clutch Pedal

So today it was pretty hot probably high 80's and i had to drive about an hour around some pretty congested traffic. The truck started running right below the 210 line tempurature wise which didn't really bother me seeing how hot it was and it was in lots of traffic but after a while it started shifting really hard and the clutch pedal started to squeak when u pushed it in and out. Just wondering if i should have the garage lube something like the linkage or something next week when it goes in for shocks and tranny fluid change and if its just the heat causing the squeaking. When i left it didn't do it the whole way home which was mostly high way and the temp never climbed to where it was on the way there.
