Default anyone in CA know the answer?

in CA we hav sum harsh emissions restrictions...would i b able to run a flowmaster 10 series single chamber and still b able to pass smog? or should i look for another one, like the 40 series? thanks

The muffler is not going to affect your emissions.But I have heardthat doing anything aftermarket to a car in CA is a big no-no unless all the parts have a CARB #. Good luck.

The flowmaster 10's (racing muffler) are not legal on the street in Cali, the 40's are the best/loudest you can do in Cali from flowmaster and still be legal, they have a new flowmaster super 44 and it is suppose to be their best and loudest street legal muffler to date you might want to give those a look.

when i got flows i went with the 20 series. my dad had the 40 series on his dakota but i didnt really like the sound so i just went with the 20.
