Wow, what a night.

I try to get some sleep and heara truck outside get started. I didn't really think anything of it at first because I was in denial it was my truck . Then I hear a VROOOM, VROOOOOOOM, VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Then I realize yep, it's my truck.

Well as some of you know I grenaded my rearend at the track the other night and the truck can't move.

So I try to be all sneaky and catch this ****er and forget about the loud screen door I have outback. So he takes of running and of course I go after him and he runs on a neighbors porch and screams,andscreams,.........and screams. I proceed to grab him and realize he is one of the Mexican farm workers the next town over. Can't speak english so there is no use yelling at him. I'm sure my face was enough.

The neighbor calls the cops on us and they arrive shortly. I tell them everything and he gets hauled away. I didn't press charges, but the neigbor sure is going to.

The thing that really sux is I have a Pit Bull, but of course the only night I don't bring him home from the shop this **** happens.

I can't sleep now

I think I'm gonna go get my dog

 

We are nice enough to let them swim across a river.. jump fences.. and work over here for minimun wage.. and he has to pull a stunt like this.. man o man.

Hope they ship him out. Along with the rest of the aliens...

 

You should press charges on that idiot. Thats ****ed up someone trying to steal your truck. How did he get inside and start it?

Shouldn't the police press the charges? It was attemted larceny. I don't think it's up to the owner, it's up to the police. I could be wrong.

 

i dunno since he didnt get away with it and was caught by the owner i think he might have the right to press charges on him maybe? i dunno

 

I have a fellow Dak buddy who said wen he was in Vegas that the Dakotas are #1 vehicles to be stolen there. It's actually happened to him and his 1st gen. Now he owns a 2nd gen R/T. He said something about how easy it is to steal them. Just break the plastic off and apparently the ignition can be taken off and replaced by the theif's own ignition and thus he can use his own key.

 

That's what happened to me last year. Ripped out the lower steering column andpulled out the ignition lock cylinder. Luckily the police found my truck a week later and I got it back with only the theft damage.
