I just got A/C back in my truck. I was starting to get sick of having my windows down the whole time i was driving. Especially when i would come up to a light. Just thought i'd post this randomly to let you all know.

 

what was your problem with it?

my a/c clutch is shot. it still works, but grinds like hell. I've had it bypassed for almost a year now...... I think its time to fix it.

 

You didn't fix it, it just started working again? I have a feeling it's not going to last.

 

The problem with mine was the line that goes from the condensor all the way back through the firewall got burned by the header putting a hole in it. So i got that replaced and the black canister that hangs on the firewall. I got it all replaced and charged for $215.20. And of course it has to rain right when i get it so i could only enjoy it for a couple hours while it was hot.

 

idk my ac is ice cold, but i dont use it bc it sucks up too much gas to run i usually just ride w/ the windows down its alot cheaper at this point w/ gass prices up again
