Default installing a new instrument panel face plate

so i bought a face plate thing from ebay for the instrument panel its white and then glows a blue color at night and comes with all the wiring and power converter?
i would post a link but ebay seems to be crappin out on me at the moment, has anyone did this before? and if so is it very hard and is there anything i should look out for or careful of taking something off? it seems relatively easy i just dont want to mess my gauges up..thanks!

Default RE: installing a new instrument panel face plate

When you take out the panel watch for the shift selector. I broke a little bracket and to fix it you have to put a 50 dollar peice which is the whole thing but make sure you don't break it. If you feel something pulling on the right side of the instrument cluster, it's the shift selector. (That is if yours isn't electric.) Otherwise I think it will be simple There is a plastic cover and that will probably pop off.
