Default Slotted and Drilled Rotors

Are slotted and drilled rotors worth the extra money?

I wouldnt put them on a DD. they are more prone to cracking.

What about paying extra for the ceramic pads, is that worth shelling out for?

I would buy ceramic pads. the only down side is they will wear out your rotors faster.

but I gotta do a brake job soon cause mine are starting to squeall. and I'm goin with ceramics. they make less brake dust too

Is it a considerable wear on the rotors, or just a little more than stock pads?

what I heard from other people is that when you change your pads again. you will have to change the rotors too since the ceramic pads wear down the rotors a bit. I dunno though. I havent tried them yet.

but you can probly go around 60k on them if not more.
