It might be all the other advanced knowledge you have that caused you to not know a simple term such as cai and hai cuz it's TOO simple.

haha yeah...i felt bad asking cuz i was like...i KNOW it has to be sumthin simple.. ...it HAS to be..

so im like...uhhh...cai.....controlled...uhh....air...in tegration!!

damnit! that doesnt make sense

and i juss kept goin. with ridiculous stuff

funny thing is i was lookin at aem cold air intakes right before i posted it

Got any dyno charts to back that up?

Most of them offer a less restrictive and smoother (less turbulent) path for the intake charge. The gains, imho, are minimal, but not a loss. With some sort of shield the intake temps aren't any different than stock, based on my own unscientific testing.

depending on where its located makes the difference in if ur gettin cold air or not.

like my current one? i can garuntee its pulling hotter air. the person before me had a makeshift one that sits farther in the engine bay.

thennn he didnt heat wrap the headers. soo pretty much its hells second home under my hood.

then the intake is sucking in that super hot air....ill prolly go back to stock

but for ur info...the WOOSH sound...

is fukin awesome i love it.[sm=guilty.gif]
