Default Interior cab fan (a/c, vents)

Hello All,

I have a 2002 Dakota. The interior blower suddenly stopped working on the 1st 4 settings yet it does work on the highest setting. On the 4 lower settings it doesn't come on at all.

If it were a fuse wouldn't it not work at all on any setting?

Thanks,

Jay

you need a new blower motor resistor.

If you feel like getting the part and installing it your self its a pretty easy job.

Thanks Natedogg!! That makes sense. The motor does work.......

I just looked in my Haynes manual and it shows it's location. Then I went to the truck and found it easily. I'll try that today.

Thanks once again!!

Jay
