Default Need SOme Help...

Hey yall Im new to this forum, but anyway can any of you tell me if $1,500 would be too much to ask for a '97 club cab dakota with a locked up engine? The tranny and everything are good, My oil pump went out @ about 130,000 miles. I'll try to post pics soon Thanks!

A USED '97 DAKOTA MIGHT BE WORTH (if motor was ok) MAYBE $2500 FOR A 2 WD - AND AS HIGH AS $5000 FOR A 4 WD. IN 2000 I PAID $5000 FOR USED '91 LE CC 4WD - 318/AUTO PW/PL/AIR..............90 K MILES.

You'd be in better shape if it was a 4x4 and had all the bells and whistles but assuming it is:

Throw a "$1,500 OBO" tag on it and haggle from there - see what happens.

If I could have a do-over when I was looking for a truck, knowing what I do now, I could have been interested.
$1,500 for an over-all solid(?) truck structure (without an engine) + the price of getting a Cummings could make for a mighty reliable/ rugged truck depending on your resources.

If you have the luxury of time and patience, you could make it happen.

Good luck man.
