My truck is fixed, the tranny was rebuilt but it has this weird kind of stutter only somtimes, but easy on gas(very) than it kinda of can't make it's mind up or something... Shifts fine with a bit more? Would this be TV cable? Also how do you make sure the cable isn't too tight or too lose. Apperently this can cause a band to fail and I want to be sure safe on it.

Band can't be failing. There was a new one put in this weekend. The "stutter" happens only under light gas like maybe the pedal moves like a 1/16" or 1/8th" from the top of the pedal.
