Default Changing Timing chain and Adjustment...

Hi, well I am going to be changing the timing chain and was wondering how to do this with a timing light. I don't want to use the static method as I hear the light is a lot easier to use. So any ideas on this? Also is a double roller worth while?

When you change a timing chain you don't use a light, you just line up the marks on the gears(crank gear straight up, cam gear straight down) you save the light to set the ignition timing. As far as double roller I don't think you can buy any other type of chain anymore. If you plan on keeping it for a while get a gear drive(less parasitic loss and take forever to wear out). That's just my $.02 I could be wrong.
