My AC quit last week. The compressor locked up. I took it to a reputable mechanic to have the work done. He put in a new compressor, dryer and orifice tube. The AC works great now. BUT. WhenI picked up the truck he asked me if the AC ever worked and seemed suprised when I told him that it did. He said that there was no orifice tube in the system. Is this possible or do I need to worry about the repair job?
