Default Truck Feels Wierd

I know the description for this post is a little generic, but I recently bought a 1999 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4, Fully Loaded for 7500$, had all of the service records, parts reciepts, and 4 brand new Trail Cutter R/T Tires. Run great other then when I pull out and stand on the gas pedal, it pulls good, then about halfway through any gear, its like the motor hits a deadspot, feels like its not pulling good, then a few hundred more rpm's go buy, and it rockets away. Almost like a hesitation halfway through the torque range. Keep in mind it is a 5 speed, 5.2 L v8, but I've pulled the tranny, and looked at the clutch assembly, looks almost new, in conjuction with a shop reciept for replacing it from the previous owner. Any ideas?

I would take the TB off and give it a good cleaning.

New O2 sensors are always good for putting some power back into your auto, especially if it has 80k+ miles.
