im just wondering if anyone knows of a good aftermarket trottlebody that will fit my 99 r/t , wont be to heavy for my stock injectors, and will still hold its own when i upgrade? ive looked all over the net and the only ones ive found would lean out my mix. (i'd like to keep my piston rings)

even if anyones got any used ones there done with let me know ifyou arewilling to sell?

 

well from wat ive heard and wat everyone will tell u is to get a tb from th fastman. his stuff supposedly works extremely well...altho i dont hav any personal experience with him, he seems very reputable

 

i have the 70 mm from www.thefastman.com on my 05 4.7 and it did wonders. if you have a mild cam this will be a deffinite for your truck. also flometric is another very good tb. my buddy has one on his 99 and it flows 1000cfm drop both an email. dan is good and his exchange program is fanstatic.

 

i have a 52mm Billet Holley TB. Works fine.. unless you are going to go the forced induction way you can go with a 53 or higher tb, but 52mm is about right for a mid moded r/t. Anything more is overkill.

Got mine for 150$ shipped. Off ebay, cheaper then the fastman and better built, and i didnt have to sell my core meaning i can probably get close to 50 for it.. meaning.. in reality. I olny spent 100 on my tb thats worth close to 400.
