how much would it cost roughly to convert my 8.25 to a limited slip with 4.10 gears? I have plans on dropping in a 360 in place of my 3.9. i also thought i would have to upgrade the rear end, but now i guess i could keep the 8.25. now that i think about it, ive abused the 8.25 quite a bit and it's held up fine.

Not to sure how much a limit slip is but I bought a no slip full locker for 450 I think it was. a LSD maybe 500 or something. it cost about 250 for the gears and install kit. maybe 500 for profesional installation. Ya trust me the 8.25 can handle a 5.9rt and with the low gears of the transfercase. It may not be the strongest but as long as everything is installed correctly you wont have anyproblems.
