ok i posted a while back aboout my dome light problem. i thought it was the door switches but after reading the factory repair manual that doesnt seem to be the case. i believe i have it narrowed down to either the "bcm" or the key in switch. but a dodge mechanic of my dad said if it was the "bcm" the lights would not work at all. would the key in switch cause the door ajar warning light not to illuminate? the mechanic said the problem is probably where i hooked up the remote starter. and that is the harness running to the key in switch. also i noticed the lighted ring that lights up around where your key goes does not light up eather. couuld it be the switch? and how hard is that to replace? and how much?
