spark plugs
so i am sure this is somewhere on the site, but i cant find it. The second spark plug from the front of the truck on both sides is covered by coolant lines(i think that is what they are). Oh yeah, 2001 Dakota 4x4 4.7 Xcab. i was wondering what i have to do to uncover them. the lines run underneath the intake. let me know what you think. it is 10pm and i am doing this change outside. so the quicker the better.
Thnx,

Well, I guess it's too late now, but, to the left and righton theintake, there are 2 'cradles' holding the lines in place. There is abolt holding the tops of the holders in place. Remove the bolts and pivot the tops back toward you, being careful not to snap them off. If you do break them off, nylon cable ties work fine to clamp the linesback down. After you get them free, you can move them as necessary to get to the coils/plugs.
Hope this helps, and good luck.

On my 2000 I had to take the air box off of the motor to get to the Plugs and coolant lines. There is enough flex in the lines after you unsnapp them from the brackets to get to all the plugs.
