Default draining coolant system?

what's the easiest way to drain the coolant on my 2001 3.9? I have to do this in order to take off my intake manifold. I have very little time and Im gonna get started on it tomorrow and at least do the first few steps in the process. Just an update on the manifold. I've decided to ship it to hughes engines and have them fix it the cheapest they can and then do the port and polish. Maybe next year I'll go ahead and pick up a stage one throttle body when i get some money.

There is a stop on the under side drivers I believe not sure just look remove the cap, do this cold of course. and it will drain out. Take a pair of plyers to the valve if you need to.

Its very well hidden but its there! As mentioned, its on the drivers side, at the bottom of the rad. It might be covered by a bit of tubing that you use when draining. Its plastic so be gentle with the pliers.

Good luck.
