alright, i got everything out of the way to get my intake manifold off except for the injectors and fuel rail. I'm assuming there's some kind of special tool to remove the fuel line without ruining it. Next question is, how do i get the injectors out? The manifold is already loose and everything, I just need to get the fuel system off, then i can get the manifold off, send it to hughes engines to get it fixed and upgraded to stage one. thanks guys

 

to get the fuel line off the fuel rail, you need a 3/8" fuel line disconnect tool. available at any parts store. you can get a set of several sizes, or just the one 3/8 size. you can use the cheap plastic ones $5-10/set or the more expensive aluminum set $20. doesn't matter. its a split tool that surrounds the line and has an extension you insert into the joint. it spreads the fingers. you wiggle it and it pops off. i've never removed the injectors, but i think you just unbolt the rail and pull them out. replace the injector o-rings when you reinstall.

 

the injectors are attached to the rail somehow, ive got it all unbolted.
