There is no exhaust bracket on the t-case on the Durango. The bracket is a very small right-angle shaped thing that is held on by the t-case nut and supports a wiring harness. It is not shown in the factory service manual diagrams and it makes it impossible to get a wrench on the nut. It's on the top passenger side nut.

I don't know if my tcase was different from yours (97 dakota ext cab) but my friend and I (mostly him) took out my tcase in 30 min. Maybe because yours is newer and a 4 door it took longer?
