I have an 02 club cab Dakota. What size are the door speakers ?My drivers sidespeaker needs to be replace as it now has some bassdistortion and anannoying rattle. I think it is a 6 and a half inch round but I'm not sure before I remove the door panel. This is a stock Infinity factory system. Also, what type speaker do I replace it with, 2 way or 3 way ? Any tips to remove the door panel safely and easy ? Thanks

 

its 6 1/2" And it all depends what you wanna go for...

 

yeah...i replaced the rear door speakers in my quad cab with aftermarket infinity ones. they sound better but kicker is by far superior.

 

my 2001 was 6 1/2 and the three way will have more highs due to the extra tweeter

 

6 1/2" coaxial two ways are more common and will do just fine. If you want really good sound get a set of components. I love my Focals!

 

componets are the way to go, but get a amp, dont run a system off the deck my .02
