My passenger side fog light is cracked and i found this out the hard way by having one of my 20 dollar silverstars burn out when i went across a water bridge down on the one road by my house. My question is so i dont have to buy a set of aftermarket fogs is there any way i could seal or spray on something to fill in the cracks but still have them work. I was thinking about smoking them and hoping that that would seal the cracks but im not sure. Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciatied.

 

a clear spray adhesive should work (the stuff you would use on a new headliner) i think you should be able to find it at a parts store, if not i would think a craft store would have something like it. just make sure its clear even if you are going to smoke your fogs, that way they look the same

 

how cracked are they? a can of clear coat might seal them. or just go to a junkyard and get another one.

 

check ebay they might have a brand new set for cheap.

 

its not cracked to bad i think im either gonna try clear and see if that works or now im thinkin i might try and make a ram air setup using the one hole and then just get a set of aftermarket ones and moutn them in the middle bottom grill. not to sure yet gonna go see hwo i could route things and see what will work.
