03 4.7L loud sucking sound from throttle body
I'm getting a really loud sucking sound coming from the throttle body. I took all of the intake system out thinking maybe a plugged air filter, but even when running just straight throttle body I still get this sound.Even when I shut off the engine I can still hear air being sucked into the throttle body for a few seconds. Anyone experience this problem? Any ideas?

Make sure you don't have a loose vacuum line on the throttle body.

I have the same sucking noise, its a very common problem with these trucks.If you go inside the cab look at the fuel gauge, you can watch it go down, and if you listen, you can hear them sucking the fuel back!! (sorry i had to, just burnt a tank in a day and a half...)

I have always noticed this sound, but after i installed my CAI i noticed that it was quite a bit louder (expecially when the A/C cycled on). After inspecting multiple times, i came to the conclusion that it is normal. But like i said, i have CAI installed, so i dont know if this helps you.....
