Anyway...I just got 6 dollar blades from autozone and they work fine, however the passenger side...kinda sticks out a bit and doesn't hug the glass, but no biggie. As long as it got the more important part.
yea i know your supposed to, but im too cheap to buy new ones so ill just wait until my parents insist that i replace(wont take much on their part as i want new ones), but i forgot, one of them was replaced last winter(feb i think) so thats new, kind of but the other one is still oe which i think is kind of funny, im also trying to not aggrevate my parents so im not touching anything on it unless they agree that it is needed, or they wont notice, and they might notice something like that on the outside
dude, their not that bad yet, when they do i will insist on new ones, but im also trying to keep the peace and whenever money i spend money they make a big ****ing deal out of it(why, what, when, how much, why(again)) its just easier to not spend money and keep them happy and off my back
He man just go buy the blades your self. If I was to get my dad to pay to fix or do maintiance on my vehical(corrently my truck) nothing would get done(when I still lived at home I made sure the oil was changed in all the cars and trucks my dad owned except the motor cycle). Buy the way i have the cheap rain-x blades and like them i have had them since may(when i got the truck) and have had no problems they did not even dry out during the summer like most do. The right blade does not sit fully on the wide shield but not bad, If i remeber correctly the oem did not even sit right when my dad got the truck new.
while am the only driver of the truck, its not really mine, its still my parents truck and they dont want me to pay for the maintance on it, i have done some stuff to it w/o telling them, but try to keep it to a minimum, and mostly hard to notice stuff, but i may have to this winter if they get too bad in the snow
If your REAL-cheap, and don't have the money or, the time to get new ones;
Take a piece of 1500-grit sandpaper & fold in half, then squeeze just the edge of the rubber
with it a few times while skimming across it. It really works!! As long as the rubber isn't damaged,
it's gonna bring back the edge to it for a while. Try-it-you'll-like it!
