Will a reese hitch off a 2000 durango fit on a 2002 dakota ?

Reese is showing two different hitches for your Dakota depending what body style Dakota you have. Neither style shows it fits a 2000 Durango. Go to http://www.reeseprod.com They have a fitment guide so you'll be able to see what other models may fit your Dakota. I am guessing though that you will need one off of a Dakota to fit a Dakota unless you find a multi-fit hitch. Hope that helps.

 

itmight they have the same frame,(i think) but im not sure so double check, but if its really cheap or free take it and try if not i have one off of a 98 dakota that will fit on an 03(my dads)

 

In otherwords, you'll have to do some modifying to make it fit.
