Default 3m tape removel

I have window vints on my truck and one of them has come off. What can I use to get the tape off of the plastic?

wd-40 and a plastic putty knife works rather well

Im a big fan of goo gone. just be sure to clean the area well because it can damage/dull paint and plastics and what not.

I'd use a bug and tar remover designed for automotive paint before I'd use goo gone, Turtle wax makes a good one, but I've allways used WD-40, since it's a lubricant it helps keep you from scratching your plastic with the plastic putty knife. whatever you use, try not to get too much of it all over the place, as it will make your life difficult

Well goo gone does work well you just need to clean after. I use it mostly to debadge cars. I cant think of anything better for badges but i will use the WD-40 idea for double sided tape in the near future.

wd 40 works the best. spray it liberaly on a rag and gently rub it of, then wash and wax the area.
