Whatsup everyone, I have a question that most people give me the run around on. I own a 98 lifted dakota 4x4 5.2, I dont have the owners manual , but i would like to know the oem rim size for the truck, i know their fifteen inch rims in diameter, but i need to know the rim width. if anyone can help me id greatly appreciate it, thanx

 

You will need to post a picture of the wheels... Dodge has produced 3 different widths worth of 15" wheels - 6", 7", and 8".

 

ok so i got the rim size, there 8 inch wide by 15 diameter, the big question is......can i fit 33/12.50/R15 maxxis buckshots on them???

 

If you are asking if you can fit 33x12.5's on them, the answer is yes. Will they fit on your truck using wheels that have stock offset? I don't know.

 

ok so by now you all know im just gettin started in building this rig, but im new at it so bear with me. by off set you mean how far the rim sets off the axle right? correct me if im wrong. your just wondering if the 33s will clear the inside of the fender. im not too sure about offset or if were even on the same page. Still correct me if im wrong or sound stupid when talking about this stuff. I think i can put spacers on right to set the rims out far enough to clear it...i donno......somebody educate me.
