i have the same problem...71k and never had a flush. i was told that if you flush it now you run the risk of messing up the tranny.

thats exactly why im hesitant on doing it. i dont want it to start messing up now

I got my tranny flushed and bands tightend and its alot better. you just have to take it easy on it for the first couple 100miles. how does new fluid hurt the tranny? and use ATF+4

they say its because the gears inside are worn and the metal shavings in the fluid help keep everything somewhat function properly. thats just what ive been told though
