Does anyone have any good information on how to remove the heads of a '97 318

well all data says"first disconnect the battery" the rest should be self explanitory. tools needed hammer, prybar, six pack and someone who knows what they are doing.

moe in wichita ks. first get a factory service manual, NOT an aftermarket. take pics as you take it apart. use peel and stick stickers to mark wires. catch all fulids in a clean pan, so you donthave to get new. get your friend bruttus to lift the heads off, it might cost a six pack. to go back togeather just clean every thing. use anti-seaze on the ext. bolts. dont use cad plated bolts on ext manafolds. anti-seaze on head bolts. retorqe head bolts after 500 miles.
go to zddplus.com and gettwo bottles of zinc, oneto lube the valve train including lifters at start up, one in crank case.

Well, sry son. ive replaced an engine in a sonoma 4.3L, bored it over, and a new cam.I wanted some tips please????And durangeddurangoif i wanted any smart comments i would have asked your mother! THANKS for the info. MOE7404.
