Most of you guys know my truck got torched over Labor-day weekend well,
Truck runs fine every thing's great but,.. The very last piece needed is the face-panel for my Heater-control-panel.
It got burn't up in the fire. While it works, it looks like crap so, I found one on E-Bay
for cheap. It LOOKS the same but it came out of a 2000 Dak. Mine is a 1999.
Anybody know if this is gonna work?? I just heard from a friend that the 2000's went to
electronic activated controls VS vacume operated. Is this true??

not sure if it'll work or not but I can say that the 2000 vs 1999 parts are not all interchangeable... when I was working on my 2000 QC I found that out.

 

i beleive in 2001 is when they went to the new dash style

 

yea i agree i think 01 i sthe new dash style and i would try it if the face fits on the part should be compatible, dont quote me on it, but i think

 

call a dealer and ask the parts dep't if they will interchange.
