Default semi-scary noise

Ok, heres the story. A little while back my 99 dakota's transfer case basically split in half while driving down the road, I took her into good year and got a new one put in, along with a u-bolt. Ever since I got my truck back at speeds of 55-65ish I start hearing this kinde metal clincking sound. I havnt been able to determine where its coming from yet and was just wandering if anyone has any advice or input. Any ideas will help, thanks.

does it get my friend in OK has a full size ram and he had a similar sound that turned out to be a siezed u-joint.you might want to take her back to goodyear and have it checked .could also be a warranty issue with the t-case.

k, me and one of my buddies checked out the u-joints and they appear to be fine. But forgot to say earlier that good year also rebuilt my front diff when it was takin in as well. Think the noise could have something to do with that?

i would take it back to goodyear.it sounds to me that this should be covered under warranty depending on the amount of time and/or miles driven.
