Do I need to adjust the bands in my tranny and if so what are the torque specs on them. My truck is an 02 with about 100,000 miles on it.

 

moe in wichita ks the torque spec is mostly to take the slake out of the parts. 20 t0 40 inch lbs should do for most trannys. then adj to 1/4 to 1/2 tighter than called for. also i have found that one or two Qts of rear end grease gives better shifting and lots longer life.
