Default What's a Good Racing Chip for a Dakota 5.9RT?

i was wanting to put in a Racing Chip in my 01 Dakota 5.9 R/T Edition Truck but was wondering what brand i should go with?i heard of alot of crappy ones that just mess up your truck and ECU system and i found out the Maxenergy Racing Chip aint all that great because for sum reason the dakotas was having problems with having all the features(got sum but not all like it said in the ad)
so yea just let me know what brand would be a great and dependable racing chip to go with thanks

the best performance for your money is to get a custom tune, but superchips is probly the best out there and you can pick up used ones pretty cheap too.

what do you have done to your truck? you might want to check out bgperformancepcm.com for a custom flash, those handhelds dont do a whole lot and for the same price you can get a real flash

ya, superchips performance tuner. you just plug it in to the plug underneath the dash and hit some yes and no buttons and your good to go. it takes about 10min to download/upload everything. and you can pick between 3 settings. 87 octane, towing, performance. towing and performance requires 91+ octane.and you can veiw/erase engine codes and change your tire size with it too.

I just leave mine on 87 octane and you can notice a good difference in mpg and power.

there is hypertec out there, but its not as good as superchips and doesnt have all the options.
