My truck flashed this code and I took it in to the dealer. They told me my antifreeze was dirty and I need to replace my thermostat, spark plugs, power steering fluid, do a coolant flush and have my injectors cleaned. I was a ASE mechanic a long time ago and that sounded a little extravagent. That code only has to do with the cooling system right? I have 60,000 miles and I am doing a coolant flush if I can figure it out, and I am replacing the plugs if I can find them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

according the to OBD II CEL code list it says you need a new coolant temp sensor. but at 60K it probably needs new coolant, T-statand plugs anyways.

 

yeah prob new sensor for the code, but most of that stuff is 60k mile maint stuff. 60k is a big one.

Nothing a ASE guy cant handle though
